Description

Purpose of Position:

Provide construction management oversight for all phases of construction projects associated with Operations and construction and design projects. Ensure specifications are followed and completed on schedule and within budget.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

•             Prepare cost estimates, including but not limited to, conceptual estimating for construction projects, design/engineering, encroachments, environmental studies, and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, etc.

•             Coordinate all communications with local authorities to ensure construction related requirements, permits and codes are assessed and reviewed.

•             Oversee performance of all trade contractors and review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure specifications and regulations are being followed.

•             Manage project communications, project cost controls, spread sheets, cash flow models, project cost loaded schedules, current and committed spend as well as construction accounting tracking.

•             Conduct jobsite meetings, administer job site safety, security and quality control programs.

•             Review subcontractor insurance, billing, payment protocol, including but not limited to, all construction related material purchases, records and summaries.

•             Coordinate with departments to ensure minimum impact on Casino or Rancheria operations during any construction projects.

Additional Responsibilities:

•             Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education/Experience:

 

•             Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required, unless otherwise waived by Executive Management.

•             Five (5) years progressive experience in large scale construction management, including but not limited to Architecture, Engineering and Design.

•             Valid Driver License is required.

•             Must possess excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.  Must have ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other construction software systems.
