Purpose of Position:

Develop, prepare, maintain and report financial analysis for the property. Support Manager of Planning & Analysis for the short and long term financial planning and budgeting for the Casino.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in preparing the budget development calendar.

• Prepare budget development package for department heads.

• Work with department heads to facilitate preparation of departmental budget.

• Monitor monthly budget compliance of the Casino and each operational department.

• Confer with Manager of Planning and Analysis to assess and critique budget compliance.

• Publish amended budget document as required.

• Compile monthly budget to actual financial statements for operation and by department.

• Prepare monthly profitability and performance ratio analysis.

• Analyze daily slot machine gaming reports; report anomalies to Manager of Planning & Analysis.  Follow up on corrective measures as required.

• Prepare forecasts of revenue, expense and cash flow projections.

• Perform promptly financial analysis for special projects as directed by the Manager of Planning and Analysis.

• Maintain integrity while handling sensitive and confidential situations.

• Display and practice excellent guest service and communication skills with internal and external guests.

• Develop pertinent KPI’s and report regularly to respective Casino Management in a timely manner.

• Preparation of the monthly Cash to Floor Report

• Preparation of the Daily Revenue Report.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required, unless otherwise waived by Executive Management.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, analytical, decision-making, organization, and problem-solving skills are required.

• Strong grasp of database concepts, advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects is required.  Excellent skills at data mining and use of databases.  Experience with SQL, Cognos, TM1, etc preferred.

• Requires minimum (1) year of financial analysis experience, including capital and/or operational budgeting.  Casino knowledge preferred.
