Purpose of Position:

Oversee the daily operations of the Valet Department under the direction of the Director of Hospitality. Maintain a professional appearance and polite demeanor at all times and a consistent level of customer satisfaction through individual service initiatives.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.

• Must have a current California Driver’s License on their person while at work.

• As a requirement of employment a clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Casino Resort’s insurer is mandatory.

• Previous hospitality (casino, hotel, valet, or guest service) experience preferred.

• Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory or management position preferred.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist customers with problem resolution; answer questions or offer information to guests regarding transportation, and current Casino promotions, assuring excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner at all times.

• Monitor and maintain efficient traffic flow throughout the valet staging area.

• Maintain a liaison with the Security Department in reporting valet damage claims.

• Supervise valet operations and resolve issues in the absence of the Director of Hospitality.

• Keep a clean and neat work environment.

• Make spot checks at work sites to ensure compliance with proper methods, guidelines, and procedures.

• Maintain proper key controls.

• Train Valet Team Members correct and safe valet operating procedures.

• Disseminate instructions to employees through shift briefings, bulletins and other communications.

• Operate all vehicle types in a congested environment.

• Responsible for the staffing, training and scheduling of Team Members.

• Responsible for preparing evaluations and issuing disciplinary actions when required.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (available for morning, mid, evening, and night shifts, weekends/holidays as required).

• Follows applicable TMCR company policies and procedures including Hotel Operations policies & procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

Direct Reports: All Valet Personnel and Shuttle Drivers

Access to Sensitive Areas: Casino and Hotel Guest vehicles, hotel storage areas, email access and all sensitive areas when accompanied with authorization.

Signatory Authority: All related Valet forms and related forms with the authorization of Hotel Management.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to cigarette smoke. The work environment is noisy and the employee will work indoors and outdoors. Work performed in areas with temperatures in excess of 115° and as cold as 15° (exposed to all weather conditions).
