Description:
Plan, develop, and implement the Casino’s switching and routing network infrastructure. Responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all telephone systems and services, network infrastructure, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Administer entire network infrastructure and its associated software.
• Develop long range development plans in accordance with stated business strategy.
• Analyze and resolve telecommunications and network connectivity issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and support user needs where required.
• Manage and administrate the network security infrastructure.
• Design and oversee infrastructure projects with a goal to improving or expanding the current infrastructure.
• Manage and assist the network engineers with the installation planning and maintenance of network cabling, including MDF and IDF closets.
• Generate network usage and inventory reports as required.
• Conduct testing and development disaster recovery plans to detect faults, minimize malfunctions, and backup systems.
• Occasional inspection of cables and wiring in floors and ceilings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required, unless otherwise waived by Executive Management.
• Requires three (3) years of experience in a Network Engineer role preferred, or combination of progressive experience and education will be considered.
• Computer program certificate preferred; or two (2) to four (4) years information technology related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills are required.
