Purpose of Position:
Responsible in assisting Retail Manager with the supervision of the Retail Outlet personnel, and managing the daily overall operations of the retail outlets including; merchandising, ordering, and cash handling. Assist management to ensure guest service needs are identified, and deploy resources for excellent guest service.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Three (3) years of cash-handling and guest service experience required.
  • Previous hospitality (casino, hotel, retail or guest services experience) preferred.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Verify and ensure that Retail services are in accordance with direction given by the Retail Manager as well as Casino Service standards and performance objectives including to cleanliness and appearance of retail outlets.
  • Assist Retail Manager in monitoring training of all personnel including sequence of service, ServSafe and guest service standards.
  • Responsible to be visible in Retail outlets and on the Casino floor throughout the shift.
  • Assist Retail Manager with maintaining accurate inventory, pricing and ordering of merchandise
  • Assist the Retail Manager with staffing, training and scheduling of Team Members.
  • Assist with preparing evaluations and issuing disciplinary actions when required.
  • Assist with progression of Team Member career development plans through mentoring and coaching.
  • Meet with guests to resolve guest concerns in accordance with guest service standards and procedures.
  • Must audit end of shift reports for accuracy of required media retention and signatures as well as complete the shift reset process for cashiers in compliance with TMCR company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge and answer guest questions regarding all general aspects of the Casino and Hotel related information.
  • Assist In the planning and execution of scheduled Physical Retail Inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (available for morning, mid, evening, and night shifts, weekends/holidays as required).
  • Follows applicable TMCR company policies and procedures including hotel operations policies & procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Access to Sensitive Areas: Hotel/Retail storage areas, email access and all sensitive areas when accompanied with authorization.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to cigarette smoke; the work environment is noisy and employee will work indoors and outdoors; work performed in areas which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky and dimly lit, and maneuver outside in temperatures in excess of 115° and as cold as 15° (exposed to all weather conditions).
