Description
Purpose of Position:
  • To prepare cakes, pies, pastries, and any other baked goods being produced according to departmental specifications. Responsible for maintaining inventory of bakery supplies.

Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
  • One (1) year of baking experience preferred.
  • ServSafe certification preferred.
  • Ability to operate kitchen and bakery equipment, read and understand baking specifications and recipes.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responsible for quality and presentation of cakes, pies, pastries and any other baked goods.
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining stations according to daily prep sheets, food safety and sanitation standards, as well as keeping kitchen and baking area free of hazards.
  • Responsible for respectful and effective communication with Team Members.
  • Responsible for transport/delivery of products to specified areas.
  • Review quality/quantity of good(s) received by the bakery. Must perform daily inventory of all items specified on prep sheets.
  • Ensure proper handling of equipment and supplies.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Access to Sensitive Areas: Food and Beverage storage areas.
  • Signatory Authority: None.

Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
