Purpose of Position:
Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core IT services. Provide support and works under guidance of the Senior Systems Engineer.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Achieve, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems.
• Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
• Manage and administrate all operating systems and their corresponding or associated software.
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user desktops.
• Manage storage and VM Infrastructure.
• Maintain network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
• Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Ensure the system backups are completed in accordance with the Disaster Recovery Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software and other applications.
• Monitor and test server software performance and provide statistics and reports.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field is preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in a System Engineering role required, or combination of progressive experience and education will be considered.
• A valid California Driver’s License is required.
